ÅF further enhances its leading position within Food & Pharma

ÅF has acquired PRC Engineering and becomes an even stronger supplier to the Food & Pharma industry.

PRC Engineering are specialized in process design, automation, IT solutions and validation & quality assurance within the fields of life science, food & beverage, energy and other industries. Approximately 230 engineers in ten locations in Sweden serve customers with design, efficiency enhancement and automation of manufacturing and production sites. The company was founded in 1990 and sales for 2014 amounted to approximately MSEK 260 with good profit levels.

"On a fragmented market, ÅF and PRC will become an even stronger provider of turnkey solutions. In addition to Food & Pharma, ÅF and PRC also complement each other when it comes to delivery of energy and industry related projects."

PRC will form part of the division Industry within ÅF, headed by Per Magnusson. A new business area will be created with focus on delivery of turnkey projects and professional services to customers within Food & Pharma. Employees from both ÅF and PRC will be part of the new business area.
