XL Catlin Adds Environmental Insurance Regional Leader in San Francisco

NEW YORK, March 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- To address continued demand for environmental risk management expertise and pollution insurance among businesses based in the western US, XL Catlin's Environmental Insurance business has appointed Denali Marlane as its Western Regional Underwriting Manager in San Francisco.

According to Matt O'Malley, president of XL Catlin's environmental insurance business, "We've relocated this position to San Francisco to put more of our environmental insurance expertise closer to our growing customer base in the West.  Effective environmental risk management takes considerable knowledge and technical skill.  Denali's diverse experience, environmental insurance knowledge and focus on service will prove invaluable to our western-based brokers and clients."

Denali will manage XL Catlin's environmental underwriting operations, collaborating across product lines and regions, to deliver XL Catlin's pollution insurance coverage, environmental claims and risk control expertise.  She joins XL Catlin from AIG, where during her tenure she most recently served as a claims sales leader and previously served as a strategic relations manager and business development manager for AIG Environmental.  She is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
