WWE Slips To Q3 Loss

(RTTNews) - World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE) reported a net loss for the third quarter of $5.9 million or $0.08 per share, compared to net income of $2.4 million or $0.03 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net loss for the third quarter was $0.6 million or $0.01 per share, compared to adjusted net income of $7.0 million or $0.09 per share in the prior year quarter.

Net revenue for the third quarter rose to $120.2 million from $113.3 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.17 per share on revenue of $133.20 million for the third quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
