WSJ: SoftBank, DreamWorks Talks Cool

(RTTNews) - SoftBank Corp.'s talks to buy DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. (DWA) have cooled, the Wall Street Journal reported late Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

According to the Journal, it was not immediately clear what had happened between Saturday, when the talks were under way, and Monday.

It remained possible that negotiations could restart, the Journal quoted two of the people as saying.

The two sides could ultimately strike a deal other than an outright takeover, one of the people said, for instance some kind of content partnership, accoridng to the Journal.
