The Nautica New York City Triathlon is the second race in the 2007 Life Time Fitness Triathlon Series. Bennett enters the event following a stellar performance last weekend in Minneapolis where he set a new course record in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon, the first race in the 2007 Series. Snowsill also started the 2007 Series with an impressive performance, finishing second to Portugal’s Vanessa Fernandes in Minneapolis. Joining Bennett and Snowsill will be more than 30 of the world’s most accomplished professional triathletes, including; Craig Walton (AUS) – 2007 Australian Sprint Triathlon Champion, 2007 Utah International Triathlon Champion Hunter Kemper (USA) – 2007 Life Time Fitness Triathlon Third Place, 2006 Life Time Fitness Triathlon Champion Julie Dibens (GBR) – 2007 Life Time Fitness Triathlon Third Place, 2007 British National Champion Pip Taylor (AUS) – 2007 Life Time Fitness Triathlon Fifth Place, 2007 Escape from Alcatraz Second Place The pro field will be racing for a portion of the $31,000 prize purse with the winner in both the female and male division taking home $8,000.
