Workday Q2 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Workday, Inc. (WDAY) Tuesday said second-quarter loss attributable to common stockholders narrowed to $35.98 million from $27.09 million in the same period last year. On a per-share basis, loss narrowed to $0.21 from $0.78 last year.

Adjusted loss for the quarter was $0.13 per share. On average, 25 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.18 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased to $107.56 million from $62.70 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $100.50 million.

Looking ahead, the company currently expects full-year 2013 revenues in the range of $436 million to $446 million, with third-quarter revenues ranging between $115 million and $118 million. Analysts currently expect full-year revenues of $439.44 million with third-quarter revenues of $115.26 million.
