Werner Enterprises Driver Places 3rd at National Truck Driving Championships

Thomas Pietrzak, Jr., a Werner Enterprises driver from Lansdal, Pennsylvania, placed third in the Five-Axle Sleeper Berth class at the 73^rd Annual National Truck Driving Championships held August 3-7, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio. The National Truck Driving Championship is a competition of professional truck drivers hosted each year by the American Trucking Associations.

Pietrzak has been driving with Werner Enterprises for almost 13 years. He qualified for the national competition by placing first in the Nebraska state competition in the Five-Axle Sleeper Birth class in June. This year marked Pietrzak’s first appearance at both the state and national level.

In addition, three other Werner Enterprises drivers, Tim Dean, Terry Durham and Larry Derr, finished 6^th, 15^th and 17^th respectively in their categories.
