Welltower Inc. Bottom Line Rises 19% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Welltower Inc. (HCN) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $402.36 million, or $1.13 per share. This was up from $337.66 million, or $1.03 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.12 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 18.4% to $1.03 billion. This was up from $0.87 billion last year.
