WellCare of Nebraska Opens New Community Centers in Omaha and Kearney

LINCOLN, Neb. and TAMPA, Fla., April 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- WellCare of Nebraska, a subsidiary of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG), has opened two Welcome Rooms, which serve as neighborhood health information, education and activity centers, in Omaha and Kearney.

Open to the public, WellCare Welcome Rooms offer a comfortable environment where visitors can ask questions about Nebraska's Heritage Health program, and members can receive help accessing needed care and services. Welcome Rooms also host dozens of free events each month, ranging from exercise and nutrition classes to education about preventive health, safety and disease management topics.
