WebMD Health Corp. Reports 81% Gain In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - WebMD Health Corp. (WBMD) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $27.46 million, or $0.60 per share. This was higher than $15.15 million, or $0.36 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.57 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 18.1% to $192.13 million. This was up from $162.73 million last year.
