Watts Water Technologies Bottom Line Climbs 23% In Q1

(RTTNews) - Watts Water Technologies (WTS) announced earnings for its first quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $19.6 million, or $0.57 per share. This was higher than $15.9 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.49 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 3.4% to $344.2 million. This was down from $356.2 million last year.
