Waste Connections Reports 25% Advance In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Waste Connections (WCN) reported earnings for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $158.13 million, or $0.60 per share. This was up from $126.46 million, or $0.48 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.57 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 12.0% to $1.21 billion. This was up from $1.08 billion last year.
