Viral Web Quiz Helps Australian Voters Decide Which Party To Vote For
MELBOURNE, Australia, Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Political website iSideWith.com, which exploded across social media websites during the 2012 U.S. election, has now launched in Australia and is helping votes decide which party to vote for in the 2013 Australian election.

The goal is to help voters sift through the issues and find which party has the most similar views to their own. The Los Angeles based co-founders Nick Boutelier and Taylor Peck joined forces with Australian contributing editor Andrew Karpiel to bring Ausrtalian voters a series of questions covering the issues that will ultimately decide this September's election.
"We had great response from Australian users during last year's U.S. elections, reaching almost 7 million users in just a few months, and thought the quiz would be an important tool for Australian Voters this fall. In contrast to the nearly 4 year election cycle here in the U.S. the Australian Federal Elections last less than six weeks and we found the parties to be divided on many major issues."
On the site, participants answer a series of questions about their views on a range of topics, from social issues (euthenasia), immigration (boat immigrants), the environment (carbon emissions) and the economy (taxes), and technology (National Broadband Network). Users can also use "importance" gauges to indicate how strongly they feel about an issue. An additional feature allows you to share your results with friends via social media.
The results for all Australians are displaying on real-time polling pages, allowing users to see how issues are trending by party, city, state, and traffic source.
