ViaSat Slips To Loss In Q4 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - ViaSat Inc (VSAT), a provider of satellite and other wireless networking systems, Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net loss to stockholders of $3.5 million or $0.08 per share. This compares with net earnings of $1.9 million or $0.04 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $4.4 million or $0.10 per share compared with $8.8 million or $0.19 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were up 11% at $343.9 million compared with $308.7 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.11 per share on revenues of $349 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
