Verint Introduces New Packaged IP Video Offerings Designed to Simplify Adoption of Networked Video Solutions
Verint Systems Inc., today announced the availability of Nextiva
Packaged IP Video solutions, three offerings that bundle together all
the hardware, software and instructional knowledge required to deploy a
networked video system. The packages are part of Verint’s
new IP Video Made Easy initiative which also includes a
series of new Training and Certification programs.
"The benefits of IP video technology are compelling but there is still a
significant installed base of analog surveillance systems in the market
today," said Jim Clark, senior vice president and general manager of
Verint Video Intelligence Solutions. "This new
offering will help organizations leverage their existing
investments in security infrastructure, while migrating to IP technology
at a pace that matches their unique requirements. IP Video Made
Easy combines all the elements that our customers and channel
partners need for successful adoption of networked video solutions,
regardless of their environment."
Turnkey Nextiva IP Video Packages
A key component of the IP Video Made Easy initiative are
the new Nextiva™ packaged solutions that
address customer needs across the IP adoption continuum –
whether a security infrastructure is all analog, all IP or a combination
of the two. Each package contains all required hardware, software,
cables and instructions to simplify specification, installation, support
and operation and is designed to streamline sourcing for integrators and
enable end users to reap the benefits of an intuitive IP video solution.
The Nextiva IP Video Packages include:
Nextiva EZ - a 36-channel "out-of-the-box" IP video starter kit
designed for scalable deployments in retail, branch office, banking,
education and small campus environments
Nextiva Basic - a 64-channel, entry-level enterprise IP video
solution designed for mid-size retail, campus, critical infrastructure
and government environments
Nextiva Foundation - a comprehensive, scalable,
enterprise-class system supporting up to 100-channels of IP video,
designed for deployment in mass transit, critical infrastructure,
municipalities and federal and military environments
"As the market leader in IP video, Verint
continues to deliver innovative solutions to address the market’s
most important security objectives,” said
David Bunzel, president of industry research firm, Santa Clara
Consulting. "These new Nextiva turnkey
packages simplify the adoption of IP video and enable more customers to
rapidly and affordably experience its powerful benefits.” Verint Training and Certification Programs
In support of IP Video Made Easy, Verint is also
introducing a series of new training resources and technology
certification programs, enabling integration and installation partners
to grow existing business and address new revenue streams stemming from
IP-based technology. These programs focus on expertise and best
practices derived from Verint's extensive experience with IP video
deployments and will enable channel partners to more effectively address
end user challenges related to convergence.
Among the initial programs introduced is the Verint Wireless
Certification. The program familiarizes channel partners with Verint’s
wireless solutions and provides hands-on deployment experience in
multiple environments. Certified integrators will be able to better
propose wireless solutions to potential customers, efficiently configure
and install wireless video equipment, and resolve potential deployment
issues unique to wireless technology.
"As a systems integrator certified in the Verint solution set, we are
excited about this new initiative and its potential benefits for our
customers," said Mark Moscinski, vice president of Safety and Security
at SD·I (System Development·Integration,
LLC). "IP Video Made Easy will give us the
opportunity to more effectively guide customers through each phase of IP
video technology adoption."
