VeriFone Systems Posts Q4 Loss - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - VeriFone Systems, Inc. (PAY) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter loss of $247.7 million or $2.26 per share, compared to a profit of $27.0 million or $0.24 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $0.27 per share. On average, 14 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.26 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
