VeriFone Systems, Inc Profit Rises 6% In Q1

(RTTNews) - VeriFone Systems, Inc (PAY) revealed earnings for its first quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $53.7 million, or $0.48 per share. This was higher than $50.8 million, or $0.44 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.5% to $513.6 million. This was up from $486.9 million last year.
