Vectrus Bags Air Force Infrastructure Contract Worth $458 Mln

(RTTNews) - Vectrus, Inc. (VEC), a government services company, Tuesday said it bagged a contract worth $458 million from the U.S. Air Force, for providing base operations and maintenance services. The contract includes firm-fixed price, cost-reimbursable and cost-plus-fixed-fee elements and if fully exercised, the contract would be extended through September 2021. Under the deal, Vectrus will provide the full spectrum of base operations and maintenance services including program management, force support services, emergency services, logistics support and transient alert operations. In addition, the company will offer contingency and exercise support with all Department of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, U.S. Air Force, and government-supported allied operations.

The work will be held in Turkey at Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, Ankara Support Facility and the Office of Defense Cooperation, and in Spain at Morón Air Base.
