Utimaco's SafeGuard Enterprise 5.3 Drives Significant New License Growth

Utimaco – The Data Security Company, announced today that SafeGuard® Enterprise 5.3, the first product on the market that couples advanced encryption and data leakage prevention (DLP) in one suite, has more than tripled its deployment of customer seats in the second half of its 2007/2008 fiscal year compared to the first half of the same year. SafeGuard Enterprise is now installed on more than 400,000 machines worldwide. The growth was driven by more than 700 new enterprise customers who selected SafeGuard Enterprise over the competition. Most of these customers are using a combination of SafeGuard Enterprise modules for encryption and DLP and are taking advantage of its advanced capabilities and central management center console.
