Updated Food Recall Warning - Certain Arctic Gardens brand Veg-e Protein products recalled due to defective packaging

OTTAWA, Sept. 28, 2018 /CNW/ - The food recall warning issued on September 27, 2018 has been updated to include additional distribution and product information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.

Bonduelle Canada Inc. is recalling certain Arctic Garden brand Veg-e Protein products from the marketplace due to defective packaging that may allow for pieces of the plastic zipper seal to fall into the product during microwaving. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.

The following products have been sold in Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec, and may have been distributed in other provinces or territories.
