Universal Display Q4 Profit Surges

(RTTNews) - Universal Display Corp. (OLED) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $57.9 million or $1.24 per share, compared to $5.4 million or $0.12 per share last year.

Adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $16.5 million or $0.35 per share. On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a earnings of $0.34 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the fourth quarter rose to $49.5 million from $28.1 million last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $46.85 million for the quarter.

For the full year 2014, the company expect revenues in the range of $190 million to $205 million. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $198.93 million.
