United Online Q3 Adj. Profit Tops View

(RTTNews) - United Online Inc. (UNTD) reported third-quarter net loss attributable to common stockholders of $47.6 million, or $0.51 per share, compared to net income of $5.1 million or $0.06 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted income for the latest third quarter was $11.6 million or $0.12 per share, compared to $12.5 million, or $0.14 per share in the comparable quarter last year. On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.09 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues declined to $174.71 million from $177.75 million last year, while three analysts expected revenues of $172.86 million.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company expects revenues in the range of $58.5 million to $61.5 million.
