United Industrial's AAI Services Subsidiary Wins Re-Compete Contract, Extending Support to Federal Highway Administration's Highway Driving Simulator
HUNT VALLEY, Md., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Industrial Corporation announced today that its AAI Services Corporation subsidiary has won a contract extension of up to five years from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to continue providing support services for the agency's Highway Driving Simulator (HDS).
The HDS provides simulation capabilities in support of research and development of new and safer highway technologies.
The contract, which has a two-year base period and three one-year options, has a total potential value of more than $4 million. The work will be performed at the Turner-Fairbanks Highway Research Center (TFHRC) in McLean, Va., by AAI Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of AAI Corporation.
