Umpqua Investments Increases Revenue, Hires 39
Umpqua Investments Inc., a retail brokerage subsidiary owned by Umpqua Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:UMPQ), has grown significantly since January with the addition of 27 experienced financial advisers whose collective revenue exceeds $8.5 million annually. As a result of this growth, total assets under its management have increased from $1.2 billion to more than $2.4 billion in the same time frame. In addition, the firm has hired 12 experienced staff members to provide the high level of personalized customer service people have come to expect from the Umpqua name. The firm is also looking to expand its presence by opening additional offices within Umpqua’s footprint throughout the next three to five years.
