Junior dos Santos is a 28-year-old who was born in Cacador, Brazil. He is best known as being the only one to have defeated Cain Velasquez. He started fighting professionally in 2006. His first UFC fight came on Oct. 25, 2008. He knocked out Fabricio Werdum that evening. His victory over Cain Velasquez in 2011 earned Junior dos Santos the UFC Heavyweight Championship for the first time. However, his first loss in a UFC fight came in the rematch between the fighters.
