Two Harbors Investment Swings To Q3 Profit - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - REIT Two Harbors Investment Corp. (TWO) reported net Income for the third quarter of $193.59 million or $0.53 per share, compared to a net loss of $192.73 million or $0.53 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Core earnings for the quarter were $82.83 million or $0.23 per share, compared to $67.65 million or $0.19 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Net interest income for the quarter grew to $117.59 million from $113.05 million a year ago.

Two Harbors also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.26 per common share for the quarter ended September 30, 2014. The annualized dividend yield on the company's common stock for the third quarter of 2014, based on the September 30, 2014 closing price of $9.67, was 10.8 percent.
