Tucson's Iconic Office Tower Announces Tenants, Upgrades, And Charity

TUCSON, Ariz., July 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Built in 1974, 5151 E. Broadway is 261,000 SF, a 17-story tower with stunning views.  5151 owned by Kent Circle Partners (Scott Seldin, president), has seen increased leasing activity in recent months. Seldin said, "We are pleased 5151 is vibrant again, alongside Tucson's positive economic factors." 5151's occupancy is up 18.95% with 49,417 SF in new leases. Renewals continue to be strong.

Bayview Loan Servicing is a national loan servicing company and upon completion of their build out which is expected later this year, will be occupying three full-floors, 39,627 SF. Aura Solutions, LLC leased 3,095 SF. They are a software development and IT consulting company with cross-functional industry experience. Principals with Aura Solutions, LLC had previously worked in the building.

Improvements in full-swing include elevator modernization with sleek new cab interiors and the installation of the state of the art Destination Dispatch system aimed to efficiently improve travel times. Parking garage maintenance and updates are happening in two phases. Architectural designs to refresh the lobby are being reviewed. Prest Coffee's inside lobby counter is a welcome amenity for tenants. Prest previously operated a coffee cart outside of the lobby.

5151 has emerged as the tower with heart. Three notable fundraising programs benefiting non-profits are the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb (Climb 4 the Fallen), Over the Edge (Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona), and the building has donated $8,000 to Tucson Jazz Institute for their Ellington Band's CD recording sessions with New York's Lincoln Center Jazz greats – Jimmy Heath and Marcus Printup.
