TSX Flat At Open Monday

(RTTNews) - Toronto stocks were little changed at open Monday amid selling in gold stocks, with the S&P/TSX Composite Index edging up 2.05 points to 12,484.62.

The Global Gold Index was down 0.50 percent, with Agnico-Eagle Mines (AEM.TO) losing nearly 2 percent. Barrick Gold (ABX.TO) and Goldcorp. (G.TO) were down nearly 1 percent each.

Fertilizer maker Potash Corp. (POT.TO) and Agrium Inc. (AGU.TO) rose around 1 percent each.

In the oil patch, Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ.TO) and Niko Resources (NKO.TO) slipped about 1.0 percent each, while Suncor Energy (SU.TO) ticking higher.

Bombardier Inc. (BBD_A.TO, BBD_B.TO) gathered about 1 percent after it said its unit has got $282 million dual-class Q400 NextGen aircraft orders from Palma Holding Limited.
