TripAdvisor, Inc. Announces 0% Advance In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - TripAdvisor, Inc. (TRIP) reported a profit for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $147.15 million, or $0.53 per share. This was higher than $147.05 million, or $0.48 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.55 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 17.2% to $415 million. This was up from $354 million last year.
