Total's President of Gas & Power Joins Top Gas Leaders at EAGC 2013
LONDON, September 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Philippe Sauquet, President of Gas & Power, TOTAL, is the latest gas business leader to confirm his participation at the 28th European Autumn Gas Conference, Europe's premier event for commercial gas professionals.
Mr. Sauquet, with over 20 years' experience in European gas, will participate in the prestigious Executive Leadership Panel, alongside three other internationally-renowned gas leaders, to talk about the issues that most matter to their business.
Bringing together a wealth of expertise, Mr. Sauquet will be joined on day two of the conference by Jean-François Cirelli, Vice-Chairman and President, GDF Suez, Marco Alverà, Senior Executive Vice President - Midstream, Eni and the shortly to be announced incumbent, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Gasunie (replacing Paul Van Gelder).
Ahead of the conference in Brussels in November, 12th to 13th, Philippe Sauquet comments:

Biography
Philippe Sauquet began his career in 1981 as a civil engineer at the French Ministry of Infrastructure. He worked at the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance as a special advisor on public manufacturing and aerospace companies.
He joined chemical company Orkem in 1988 as Vice President, Strategy before being appointed Senior Vice President, Acrylics Sales & Marketing.
He moved to Total in 1990 as Vice President, Anti-Corrosion Paints and was subsequently named Vice President, Chemicals Strategy. In 1997, Mr. Sauquet transferred to the Gas & Power Division, where he was Vice President, Americas; Vice President, International; Senior Vice President, Strategy & Renewables; Senior Vice President, Trading & Marketing; and CEO of Total Gas & Power, based in London.
Mr. Sauquet was appointed President of Gas & Power in 2012. He sits on the Management Committee.
