Tilgin launched new ACS version tGem 6.1 at Africa Com

Tilgin, a leading provider of solutions for multi-play and next-generation managed broadband access, launched its new version of Auto Configuration Server, tGem 6.1, during Africa Com.

Tilgin and its regional partner ATEC attended FTTH Africa and Africa Com in Cape Town and were pleased to unveil the TR-069 remote device management platform tGem 6.1.

"Our latest version is based on the successful first release of tGem, and we have already received a lot of positive feedback. This confirms that we are on the right path.” says Eric Hjelmestam, Vice President Solution Management at Tilgin.

With this new version, tGem offers advanced and customized reporting capabilities as well as improved performance thanks to the new architecture.

During the fair and for the first time in the African market, Tilgin also presented their flexible premises solution for FTTH deployments, which attracted a lot of interest from visitors and exhibitors.
