Tile Shop Profit In Line With Estimates

(RTTNews) - Tile Shop Holdings Inc (TTS) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net earnings of $4.5 million or $0.09 per share compared with $3.8 million or $0.07 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were up 13.6% at $75.7 million compared with $66.7 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.09 per share on revenues of $73.7 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Same store sales for the quarter were up 5.7%, the company said.

Gross margin was lower at 67.8% compared with 69.8% a year ago.

For the full year 2015, the company said it now expects adjusted earnings of $0.28 to $0.33 per share on revenues of $280 million to $290 million. Analysts expect earnings of $0.31 per share on revenues of $285.6 million for the year.
