The Pell Institute and DeVry Inc. Announce Live Webcast of Education Policy Forum to Take Place May 11

The Pell Institute for the Study of Opportunity in Education (Pell Institute) and DeVry Inc., a global provider of educational services, announced today they will provide a live webcast of their joint education policy forum, "Empowering the New Majority: Strategies to Help Low-Income and First-Generation Students Succeed” on Wed., May 11, 2011. The webcast will broadcast live from the American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C. starting at noon EDT.

Findings from The Pell Institute’s newest report, Promising Practices Supporting Low-Income, First-Generation Students at DeVry University, will be presented at the forum. Following presentation of the study findings, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Bill Symonds, director of the Pathways to Prosperity Project at Harvard University.
