The GEO Group Inc. Announces 18% Rise In Q1 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - The GEO Group Inc. (GEO) reported a profit for its first quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $62.36 million, or $0.84 per share. This was higher than $52.93 million, or $0.72 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 19.4% to $510.19 million. This was up from $427.37 million last year.
