(RTTNews) - The Children's Place Inc. (PLCE) reported a profit for its first quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $25.76 million, or $1.32 per share. This was higher than $17.74 million, or $0.83 per share, in last year's first quarter.
