The Chemours Company Q3 Earnings Rise 91%

(RTTNews) - The Chemours Company (CC) announced a profit for its third quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $214 million, or $1.12 per share. This was higher than $112 million, or $0.61 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.04 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 12.9% to $1.58 billion. This was up from $1.40 billion last year.
