Teradata Corp. Announces 30% Decline In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Teradata Corp. (TDC) revealed a profit for third quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line fell to $78 million, or $0.55 per share. This was lower than $111 million, or $0.71 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.55 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 9.1% to $606 million. This was down from $667 million last year.
