Teradata Acquires Big Data Partnership Consultancy

(RTTNews) - Big data analytic company Teradata (TDC) Monday announced the purchase of Big Data Partnership Consultancy, an EMEA based service provider. The financial aspects of the deal was not revealed.

Teradata noted that Big data analytic represent a market valued at $40 billion in 2015.

The Big Data Partnership methodology complements Teradata Company Think Big's open source consulting approach, named Think Big Velocity.

Rick Farnell, senior vice president of Think Big, said, "Big Data Partnership brings exciting new capabilities and broadens our analytic services portfolio, enhancing Think Big's expertise and giving our customers more choices, outcomes tailored to their goals, and valuable knowledge transfer."
