Teliasonera: Tapio Kuula Will Not Be Put Forward as Nominee to the Board Due to Illness

Tapio Kuula (OSE:TEL) (STO:TLSN) (HEX:TLS1V) (LSE:TEE) has said that he will not be available for election to the Board of TeliaSonera.

Tapio Kuula has informed the nomination committee that, due to serious illness, he will not be able to participate in the TeliaSonera Board starting from the 2013 AGM.

"I regret this, in part for the competence Tapio would have brought to TeliaSonera’s board, but above all for what it means to him personally. I wish him a stable recovery,” says Committee Chairman Kristina Ekengren.

The Nominating Committee will provide further information as soon as possible.
