Telecom Italia Group 2014 Prelim. EBITDA, Revenues Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Telecom Italia Group (TI, TIAOF.PK) posted 7.9% lower preliminary EBITDA of 8.79 billion euros in 2014, compared with the previous-year figure of 9.54 billion euros, with an EBITDA margin of 40.7%. In organic terms, the EBITDA is down 643 million euros or 6.8% year-over-year and the EBITDA margin is down 0.6 percentage points reaching 40.7% in 2014.

Revenues for the year 2014 totaled 21.57 billion euros, down 7.8%, compared with 23.41 billion euros in the 2013 financial year. In terms of organic change, which is calculated by excluding the effect of changes in exchange rates and consolidation area, consolidated revenues slid by 5.4%.

Telecom Italia S.p.A.'s revenues came in at 14.15 billion euros and EBITDA stood at 6.74 billion euros in 2014.
