Teen Superstar Emma Roberts Sets Sail for 'The Best Trip Ever' in Nickelodeon's Unfabulous Original Television Movie Premiering Sunday, Dec. 16, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT)

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Teen queen Emma Roberts' Addie Singer continues her quest for fabulousness by attempting to plan the ultimate graduation trip in an Unfabulous original television movie, entitled "The Best Trip Ever," premiering on Nickelodeon on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). In the one-hour prime-time TV movie, unflappable Addie takes the reins in planning her school's big eighth-grade trip with the hope that it will finally make her fabulous among the popular middle school clique. But her plan is complicated by a secret that threatens to ruin the trip and come between her and her two best friends.

"Emma has grown into one of the most talented and sought-after young actresses in Hollywood who brings a girl-next-door charm to her Unfabulous character," said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming. "Kids relate to Emma's endearing portrayal of Addie and we think this Unfabulous TV movie adventure is a kid's dream come true."

As eighth grade quickly draws to a close, Addie still feels overlooked by the popular kids. Desperate to establish a reputation for herself, she leaps at the chance to plan the best graduation trip ever -- a lavish three-day cruise for her entire eighth grade class. Everything seems to be smooth sailing until Addie learns that her best friend Zach (Jordon Calloway) has a secret crush on her other best friend Geena (Malese Jow). Caught in the middle, she fears the burgeoning relationship may threaten their perfect friendship trio. To nip romance in the bud, Addie focuses on keeping her two friends as far apart as possible. But when the cruise hits rocky waters - literally -her plan backfires and she is forced to step up and prove once and for all just how fabulous she can be.

TurboNick, Nickelodeon's broadband video player on Nick.com, will also feature sneak peeks of the TV movie and will promote it on the Nick.com Unfabulous supersite a week before its TV premiere.
