TechniData AG Deploys Packeteer(R) Solutions to Intelligently Monitor and Accelerate Applications from the Datacenter to the Mobile User

Packeteer® (NASDAQ:PKTR), the global leader in WAN application delivery, today announced that international compliance management specialist, TechniData AG, is utilizing Packeteer’s intelligent WAN optimization and application visibility solutions to solve application performance issues that extend from the datacenter to the mobile user. By deploying Packeteer’s PacketShaper®, iShared® and Mobiliti™ solutions across its enterprise, TechniData AG has been able to prioritize and control the performance of its business critical WAN applications and cost-effectively scale its branch offices IT infrastructure. These solutions will also allow for future server consolidation and accelerate WAN data access and synchronization for mobile users. As a result, TechniData AG is lowering its operating costs while improving the overall transparency of its distributed IT infrastructure. Mobiliti is also fully Microsoft compatible and combines TCP and data acceleration functions, automatic desktop-data backup and offline access to centrally stored data.
