Syniverse Names Laura E. Binion as General Counsel

Syniverse Technologies (NYSE:SVR), a leading provider of technology and business solutions for the global telecommunications industry, today named Laura E. Binion as general counsel, corporate secretary and senior vice president. Binion will succeed Robert F. Garcia Jr., general counsel, corporate secretary and vice president, who is leaving the company after 13 years of service. Most recently, she served as executive vice president and general counsel for CheckFree Corporation, a $1 billion provider of financial electronic commerce services and products that was acquired in December 2007 by Fiserv Inc.
