Syngenta To Set Out Details Of 15 New Pipeline Products On R&D Day - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Syngenta (SYT), a leading agriculture company, announced it will set out the details of the company's pipeline of innovation across chemistry, seeds and traits. In crop protection, the company will showcase its technology pipeline, focusing on the nine new active ingredients with combined peak sales potential of over $3.6 billion. These include the broad spectrum fungicide ADEPIDYN (pydiflumetofen) and ORONDIS for vegetables and specialty crops. The pipeline also includes products in insecticides and herbicides together with breakthrough technology in seedcare.

Syngenta said, in seeds and traits, corn trait revenue is set to more than double by 2020. The company said its trait pipeline is well positioned to lead the next wave of GM innovation.
