Symrise Lifts Holdings In Probi To 30.03%

(RTTNews) - Symrise AG (SYIEF.PK, SYIEY.PK), a supplier of fragrances, flavorings and cosmetic active ingredients, said it has increased its holdings in Probi AB to 30.03 percent, which gives rise to an obligation to launch a mandatory public offer to all shareholders in Probi.

Symrise has acquired 11,010 shares in the Swedish company, whereupon Symrise holds 2.81 million shares in Probi. Symrise's holdings in the company has thereby increased from around 29.91 percent of the shares and votes to around 30.03 per cent of the shares and votes.

Symrise plans to announce within four weeks information regarding a possible mandatory public offer for the remaining shares in the company. If such offer is launched, the offer price will amount to 40.10 Swedish kronor per share, which corresponds to the highest price paid by Symrise during the last six months.
