European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation awards to the Centaur² consortium, composed of Sword Technologies, Intrasoft International and Arns Developments, the ISS-Horizon 2020 Lot 2 Framework Contract, for a total value of 21.9 million EUR

Luxembourg - April 10, 2014

The Centaur2 consortium, of which Sword Technologies is a member, has been awarded the ISS-Horizon 2020 "External services provision of development, studies and support of information systems - Lot 2: IS off-site development projects" framework contract with the European Commission (Directorate General for Research and Innovation - DG RTD) with a value of €21.9 million.

This framework contract will be executed through fixed price or quoted time & means services related to software development, implementation and maintenance, and it spans to a 4-year duration.

The ISS-Horizon 2020 is the single most important framework contract of DG RTD and concerns the IS services that will support the processes and tools implementing Horizon 2020, the European Commission's €80 billion Framework Programme to fund scientific research across the European Union for 2014-2020.
