Strayer Education Inc Reveals 15% Retreat In Q1 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Strayer Education Inc (STRA) reported earnings for first quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit declined to $10.58 million, or $0.95 per share. This was down from $12.42 million, or $1.15 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.4% to $114.91 million. This was up from $111.17 million last year.
