Strayer Education Inc Q2 Profit Drops 34%

(RTTNews) - Strayer Education Inc (STRA) released earnings for second quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit fell to $7.79 million, or $0.72 per share. This was lower than $11.87 million, or $1.11 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.1% to $108.49 million. This was down from $109.75 million last year.
