Stericycle Profit Tops Estimate

(RTTNews) - Stericycle Inc. (SRCL) Thursday reported third-quarter net earnings of $82.8 million or $0.96 per share compared with $80.5 million or $0.92 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $1.08 per share compared with $0.96 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were up 24.9% at $638 million compared with $534.6 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $1.06 per share on revenues of $661.4 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Stericycle provides regulated and compliance solutions to the healthcare and commercial businesses.
