Starwood Issues Q1 & 2016 Guidance - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (HOT) announced, for the full year 2016, the company expects: adjusted EBITDA to be approximately $1.085 billion to $1.110 billion; and EPS before special items to be approximately $2.74 to $2.84. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report profit per share of $3.27. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the full year 2016, the company expects REVPAR at Same-Store Systemwide Hotels Worldwide to be up 2% to 4% in constant dollars. REVPAR at Same-Store Owned Hotels Worldwide is expected to be up 1% to 3% in constant dollars.

For the three months ended March 31, 2016, the company expects: adjusted EBITDA to be approximately $250 million to $260 million; and EPS to be approximately $0.56 to $0.59. Analysts expect the company to report profit per share of $0.71.

For the three months ended March 31, 2016, the company expects REVPAR at Same-Store Systemwide Hotels Worldwide to be flat to up 2% in constant dollars. REVPAR at Same-Store Owned Hotels Worldwide is expected to be up 2% to 4% in constant dollars.

For the fourth-quarter of 2015, the company reported earnings per share from continuing operations, excluding special items, of $0.89.

Fourth-quarter Worldwide Systemwide REVPAR for Same-Store Hotels increased 2.8% in constant dollars, while decreased 1.1% in actual dollars. International Systemwide REVPAR for Same-Store Hotels increased 0.6% in constant dollars, while decreased 6.1% in actual dollars. Systemwide REVPAR for Same-Store Hotels in North America increased 4.7% in constant dollars, while also increased 3.3% in actual dollars.
